The first of my attempts to learn how to paint more alive looking scenery, and faster than usual, not obsessing much with details. Took about 2½ hours in Photoshop CS. Partial references for the backdrop and for Hikaru.

Sweet. But like all Rick's ships, it gets destroyed. I like the perspective. And the SDF-1 blurred in the background (very nice effect). All in all, it's a badass piece.
