Dunehunter Cover

This is a Cover for a Comic i drew in 2004/2005. I wanted to draw an atmospheric picture, showing all the maincharaters. For better understanding i sorted them after their importance, the protagonist is set on the top while the Characters in the Background are not that important at all.

I scribbled a small thumbnail on DinA5 to find the right proportions and layout. After that i copied it up to DinA3 and detailed it using a light-table. The finished drawing was scanned in 6 parts and puzzled together in Photoshop. Added colors and finished it in Painter9, all in all the coloring took about 25hours.
