Normally, I wouldn't draw any char without a shirt, but for this, it fit. Ekyt''s shirt is supposed to be around his leg, holding closed a stab wound. (Just like in my fanfic. I'm one of those modest people, so Ekyt is typically the same. Except he can land a girl and I can't! j/k! Where I live, there aren't too many that are...nice, me, being shorter, always gets bullied, even by them and their male counterparts (Just like Ekyt, wonder of wonders!) I finally got up the courage to do a pic of him looking beaten up, so that''s why his shirt is off. Linda looks beautiful for a change, I think. This is from one of my fanfics where Ekyt fought for the right to guard the chaos emeralds. Linda is rolling her eyes and muttering something? Anyone wanna guess what she''s saying? So, anyway, there were two points to this pic:
1. emphasize these two as a couple (Ekyt is so lucky!, lol)

Another thing that I like to do a lot is looking at other peoples sketches but only if they have the guidelines because then you can analyze it and slowly apply it to your own artwork.MitchellP on August 16, 2006, 2:26:33 AM

Hmmm....let me see...Well for the head of Ekyt what some of us do is draw a egg like shape to help give it the natural curvature of the head from there we divide it in half both horizontally and vertically. It's helps to keep each side identical if it's a headshot like this one. I should do a little tutorial of the head so you can understand me better lol I'll critique one thing at a time so nobody things I'm art bashing or picking on you -_-'
You should use photoshop and duplicate the layers and multiply them so we could see the shading a lot better.

Ha ha! I've been reading your fanfics so for once I'm with the program, lol! Hey, I really like this pic and the way you drew Ekyt's face! You did a good job, definitely better than I could do. I'm crap in realism. Always remember...the underdog always wins!!!!
