I agree I see alot of Hayate and Kakashi in him ^__^I'll be honest-You are improving most defintely. Though there's just a few things,like what type of pencil do you use? If you don't,then I'd highly suggest using a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil. It'll help smoothen the lines out better.
I think it's a good start of shading as well! So keep it up,if you want you could use graphite pencils for the shading since they vary in different hues. I haven't exactly got a hang of them..but it's defintely a must for shading. ^^

Oh CRAP! HIS HEADBAND SHOULD BE COLORED IN TOO, EVERYONE! I FORGOT -_-' I'll fix that in the next one!
