Anabel for Suzume

Here's a picture I made for Suzume of her original character, Anabel. I drew it in pencil first on watercolor paper, then I painted Anabel, the critters, the tree stump and branch. Then I did the background once the other stuff was dry by using the wet on wet canvas technique. I think I smudged it up a bit though because I inked in the stump and branch with brown ink while the background was still drying (I have no patience!)
Anyway it took a little while and I got a bit carried away but she was so fun to color, I couldn't resist. :D
