Great job on the left side, though the right side could use some work (or vice versa depending on this next set of circumstances). On the left, you made the background gradient dark to light from the outside in, but on the left you did light to dark from the outside in which made for a more jarring transition from both sides when you get to the middle so it seems like two totally different sides that don't blend as well together even though it is obvious you tried to connect them from the blurring of colors in the middle.
