guy and sad girl

i got a new sketchbook, and when i picked it up, i think it posessed my hand!! which i was totally happy about, because i didn't have to do anything except watch this picture magically appear on the page before me. okay, so i was exceptionally happy about this picture because 1) i usually suck at drawing people facing towards the right, 2) i've never drawn anyone kissing before (not well at least) and 3) i was able to make the hands not look over-worked and disproportionate, a problem i have always had. i don't like the way the girl's face turned out in the top right sketch, though. if you have any SPECIFIC bits of criticism that i could use to improve this piece, please, comment away. if you feel like making me happy, still comment away. and visit the rest of my gallery. thanks! enjoy~!
