Description

This is a picture in tribute to Kurt Cobain. He's pictured playing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and, as everyone remembers him, was the guitarist and vocalist for Nirvana. It's been ten years since his death, so I drew this in tribute. Rest in peace, Kurt.

Flea, he didn't pump him self full of valium. He used a trple-lythel does of HERION! Much more toxic. A double does is enough to knock you out it less thin three seconds. He was murdered, theres tomuch evedence aginist suicide and to much towards murder to not say so. You need to de your research!

For SuperSam, Courtney had no good reason to kill Kurt Cobain. He wrote Hole's lyrics, he saved her life, he was probably the only good thing IN her life. No, he killed himself and conspiracy theories are simply stupid. He had severe depression. The reason the handwriting looked off was he had pumped himself full of valium(LARGE overdose. He wouldn't have survived it if he HADN'T blown his head away. Shotguns kick, so that could explain the distance away from the body. If it has little or no support, it'll fly back.
Kurt Cobain killed himself, and in doing so, saved the lives of teens everywhere.

I was only five when he died and i was and still a big fan of Nirvana. I have the real pic that you drew your's from. I think Courtney killed him. If you want me to tell u y just e-mail me and i'll tell u. Have you read the Kurt Cobain Journals? Very good book. I love your pic! *favs*

I love the pose and mood of this. It really shows Kurt on stage, past the tons of portraits out there (though I'm guilty of doing them too, as you know). Wonderful job on all the little guitar details. As for color, it's an extremely difficult thing for realism. Nowhere near where I'd like to be, myself. But I think you should definitely keep experimenting with color.

Yes, Shamu. I am aware of my error. I would also like to apologize in advance for the lack of color in all of my pictures. I used some in this one, but I find that color can screw up shadowing details and give the picture a less 3-Dimensional texture. However, if anyone requests color, specifically, I will use it. Thank you.

Thank's to Shadow of Darkness for pointing out my error. Previously, I had written that the late, great Kurt Cobain died 7 years ago. He really died 10 years ago. I have corrected this error and would appreciate further comments on my work.

Very nice. But his death was 10 years ago -- not 7.
