I got a job!! :D YAY! And, since I'm posting this picture at all, it also means I got the scanner working! :D YAY!
Yeah, this is what I imagine I'll be like after a few weeks of lifeguarding when I lose the enthusiasm I'm bursting with right now because I'm about to get paid for watching people swim... well, also I rescue them and occasionally lend my CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard water rescue skillz. Not to mention I get to blow my whistle and tell people what to do. "WALK" "OFF THE WALL" "MA'AM, your son is not allowed in the pool because he CAN'T SWIM. Durr."
Heh heh... fun times... I start next week. *nod* Can't wait~ I get to use the gym for free! YESS!
Anyway, this is just a sketch I did really late at night. I was going to test out the scanner and besides having like half my sketchbook currently filled with stuff, I haven't deemed any of it scanner worthy yet. None of it, including this pic, really is. I need to outline lines and erase smudges, etc. etc. on a lot of them. So... yeah... but at least it's working! And that's what matters! So maybe I can start submitting more and slowly gain a few more fans... then one day I'll submit something on my dA account. Haha.

Lol it's extremely boring! I'm not going to lie! Only I work at an indoor pool. I would never want to lifeguard at a beach. That's just terrifying... :OBut yeah. Wherever you work as a lifeguard... it's going to be boring as heck. ^_^;;; We have to do weekly training to stay in shape and all this stuff just in case there is an incident. We have to scan the water efficiently and they'll give you spot checks every once in a while to make sure you're turning your head every ten seconds and get at least 4 thorough scans of the pool done under a minute. Occasionally we have visual awareness tests, where they'll throw a dummy in the pool and if you don't spot it, you're in trouble. ^_^; So you have to remain aware the entire time and can't space out or get distracted. Lol. So if they look bored... it's because they are... xD Hahaha
