A reserve entry for Tuxedo Mini Masks's Original Pokemon contest. I won't enter it officially unless I feel it's needed to secure a placing for me in this contest.
So, until then, just enjoy it as a new Evolution to the Pokemon, Girafarig!
-----------------------------------------------
Name: Givertiraf *a combination of the words 'giraffe' and 'vertical'*
Attacks: Tackle, Confusion, Stomp, Agility, Psybeam, Light Screen, Iron Tail, Dream Eater, Double Kick, Take Down, Double Edge and Body Slam.
Special Attacks: Hidden Power (can perform any elemental attack), Future Sight (able to read the mind of the opponents’ trainer and be prepared to dodge the next move).
Evolution Level: N/A
Evolution Forms: Evolves from Girafarig
Location: Never found in the wild; only evolve from Girafarig who’ve been trained at a very high level.
Type: Normal/Psychic
Description: You can imagine the look of surprise on the face of the trainer who owned the first ever Girafarig that evolved into a Givertiraf! Girafarig need to be at a very high level to evolve; level 175! It’s tough to get a Pokemon to that level, but what a prize! Givertiraf are the 3rd tallest of the land Pokemon; just below Onix and Steelix. They are super graceful and can easily dodge attacks. Their ability to read other trainers’ minds makes it very easy to anticipate whatever attacks the trainer has in mind before they even have a chance to shout them to their Pokemon. Givertiraf also have their height to rely on during battle. These Pokemon are very friendly and loving towards their trainers. They do have a powerful kick, though, and can crack skulls, which is why most trainers put weights on their fetlocks; it lessens the damage given by the Double Kick attack, but at least the opposing Pokemon gets to survive. The head on their tail is short-tempered and will even bite the Givertiraf if it’s in a foul mood. It is said that the head hates being covered in hair and that is why it rebels after evolving. Givertiraf can reach the staggering height of 18 feet and weigh a pretty tremendous 1100 pounds. Males are slightly taller then females and have a blue mane. A sure-fire way to beat this Pokemon in battle is to trip it, though it’s very difficult to trick this Pokemon into stepping into a vine whip attack so that it could be tripped; remember, it reads minds! Unlike most Psychic-type, Givertiraf can not be affected by Ghost-type attacks because it is part Normal-type.
