"As those three come for me... I'll have my fun with the others..." Hikiro smirked. "I shall expirement with my power over the two other members of the Trinity..."
Gadrel's senses peaked as he felt a dominating spiritual presence coat the area. ~Holy shoot...that aura's huge! But it's not affect ME at all...then who is it affect...?~ The idea finally processed. ~...Oh no...~
"Now... Time for you two to start serving your master..." Hikiro smirked. "Duane, Ryu... You are mine! Attack your allies..."
Ryu fell to her knees, shivering. "A...voice...nn...my head... Won't...hurt..." she bit her lip hard trying to force away the voice. "Won't...listen..."
"AH!" Duane grabbed his head. "What the hell...?" He too went to his knees. "What in the world...AH!...Must...fight it..." He felt a phrase being forced from his mouth. "None...is above...the Father...in Heaven..."
Harlan was wide eyed. "Duane...Ryu...What's going on?"
Anubis was scared as well. "It's Hikiro...I think he's taking control!"
"Anubis....Get...away..." Ryu bit her lip harder, so that it bled. She had to fight it. Her vibrant pink aura surrounded her as Hikiro forced her to enter her possessed form.
"You are both mine now..." he smirks, and turns, to watch his brother, Michael and Rei battle the lesser demons he had waiting outside.
~I've got to get her isolated somehow...~ Anubis said, running towards Ryu, clutching her tight and flying through one of the windows, trying to get to the farthest point of the island.
"Let...go...hurt...you...NO!" Ryu's aura solidified, her eyes going red, but blank pupil-less red, unlike normal... Her blank glare was dark, formidable. Her heart tried to fight his control, but it was as if she were trapped in a cage, looking out at what was happening. Her aura switched from pink to blood red, forming solid wings, Hikiro's personal touch.
The aura's sudden charge pushed Anubis off, knocking him down to the ground rolling him slightly. He got to his feet, looking over. ~Good...we're a decent way away from the houses.~ He turned back to Ryu, whose wings scared him. "Ryu...!"
"Can you tell she's under my control Anubis? She's watching all of this, trapped inside as she watches herself hurt you... torture... just the way I like it..." Ryu's body said. Her eyes flashed normal for a brief second. "Get away...Now..."
"Ryu!" Anubis said. "I'll save you, don't worry!" ~Damnit...my powers can't over ride a God's control...and Ryu's probably more powerful because of it...I don't want to hurt her...but I have to defend myself and somehow get her back to normal...~
"You can't stop me... Either you die or she does..." Ryu's blank face twisted into a cruel smirk. "It's your choice..." An energy blade appeared in her right hand. The real Ryu made it fizzle and die, so Hikiro just made another.
"Hikiro...You'll pay for this...I'll kill you myself!" Anubis said, getting himself into a defensive battle stance. He couldn't conjur energy blades, but he could coat his arms in aura, which was essentially the celestial equivalent of a sleeve of iron.
"How will you do that? You haven't separated us yet. I die she dies..." a dark chuckle escaped the girls body. "This is so much fun... I wonder how she'll react if I hurt you... I bet she couldn't take it... Emotional torture... My favorite kind..." Hikiro's puppet charged at Anubis, extending the blade as she ran. "Stop it... I...Out of...my...head..." She couldn't stop it... no matter how ha
Anubis blocked the blade with his arm. "Ryu...fight it!" He winced, using all his strength to keep her at bay. "You've...got to...FIGHT IT!"
"Trying..." A jolt of pain went through her, forcing her into Hikiro's control. "She really wants to protect you... Sad really... But even if she can occasionally take control, she can't fully stop me... She's too weak..."
"GET OUT OF HER YOU BASTARD! SHE'S DONE NOTHING TO YOU!" Anubis shouted, pushing Ryu back. "GET OUT OF HER NOW!":
"No... It's too much fun watching the two of you suffer..." the dark chuckle was heard again. It charged again, creating a second, dagger like blade. "Your pain is my joy... It's simple..."
Anubis looked at the dagger, then at his current arm block. He smirked. "I can block your silly dagger...I still have an extra arm..."
"Oh?" Ryu turned swiftly around, her wings of aura solid, she jumped up, and somersaulted, landing behind Anubis. The dagger was pressed between his shoulder blades. "No... I...I... won't!" she gained control for a split second and made both blades disappear. Another jolt of pain, on that wracked her entire body this time, caused Hikiro to gain control. "Stubborn little dog..."
Anubis turned around. "Ryu!" He became angry. "Hikiro...you've gone to far! What has she ever done to you?" Anubis floated back somewhat, trying to keep his distance but still staying close enough to make sure he could attempt something.
"One, she sides with my brother, two, she hurt me, when she was slicing herself open. Three, I hate stubborn human woman..." Hikiro forces her to create another set of blades, forcing her to fight again. "Do you know how fun it is to see her try to fight my control?"
Anubis recharged his aura arm armor. "Why would you do this...what do you want? What's the point of bending the entire Earth to your will?"
"I want the power to rival the supreme deity..." He says, smirking. "And I'll do anything to get that power. Be it torture, murder, lie, or steal... I want the entire universe, all of existence, as my toy..."
"But why?" Anubis said in an almost desperate voice, still distraught over the manipulation of Ryu. "What's the point of wanting the entire universe for your own amusement?"
"Well, if you have power, why not enjoy it... And ruling over and torturing all of existence would be fun for me... I choose who lives and who dies... I choose whether or not this planet crashes into the sun. I want it all... There's no rhyme or reason to it." The eyes shut. "I don't want this... Get out of my head..." tears started to stream down Ryu's face, not normal tears, but tears of blood.
~The control is so intense that her fighting back is damaging her eyes?...~ Anubis screamed. "YOU BASTARD! WHY DON'T YOU FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN?" He began to tear, but desperately attempted to hold it back. He couldn't show weakness...not now.
Far behind them both, a large orb of light shot itself into the sky.
"I've got to stop you...I WILL stop you..." Anubis slowly reverted back to his original form. "But not as Anubis the human...I shall defeat you as Anubis, of the Seraphim!"
"Seraphim or no, I have more power then you. I hold all the cards. Even if you beat my control away, your precious little Ryu will probably end up blind. She's so desperate to save her precious puppy, she's willing to sacrifice ever seeing him again... What a devoted little human..."
Anubis was becoming desperate. He had to find someway to break Hikiro's control but not hurt Ryu. Although his lesser god form was somewhat more threatening looking, besides that it didn't really make him anymore powerful. He decided to wait for Hikiro to strike first, unless he took to long. Anubis couldn't sacrifice Ryu being anymore hurt: She was already risking blindness and who knows how else she was suffering?
