Why?

"His aura disappeared... But I know I felt him somewhere around here..." Ryu muttered. "I wonder... If I could find him using his stupid password... I've got to get the book back... whether stealing it... or winning it... I need to get it back..."
Gadrel, invisible, smiled as he saw Ryu search. ~Has she deduced that we've located ourselves near the original holding of the Necronomicon? She's right on that remark...but will she find us...?~ Gadrel slithered, keeping a close tab on her.
"I know you're there Gadrel... I can sense you..." Ryu said not turning. "Are you spying on me or what? All you've done is let me know I'm close"
Gadrel became visible. "I'm just watching you for something to do while Crowley and the Demiurge finish up. It's almost time, you know."
"Yeah... That's why I'm here... To try to stop them... I just need to figure out how...."
"Stop them? You can't stop us." Gadrel smiled his reptillian smile. "As soon as they discover the proper method of his revival, we'll all be for the better. There's more to this than you understand."
"Even if they find the way, if they do something the book doesn't like... they could both die.... I don't care about Crowley but there's no way I'm letting that happen to Yalda-san..." Ryu sighed, clenching her fist.
"I'm not letting that happen to Yalda-san." Gadrel said in a mocking tone, followed by laughter.
"Shut it..." She created a blade of aura and turned, missing the snake by a hair. "Yaldabaoth is my friend... even if I don't like that he's working for Crowley... I understand why..."
"Bahaha...your friend...that's excellent." Gadrel laughed. "And I suppose, because he's your friend, he knocked you out and let Crowley take the book, huh?"
"He wants to kill his mother... I understand that... He thinks he needs Crowley's help to do that..." She shook her head.
"Obviously his silly murder fantasy is more important than anything he had with you..." Gadrel said in a voice that could pierce glass.
"Even so.... I won't let the book kill him... Even if I don't matter to him at all..." She tried to ignore Gadrel, but she had a fleeting feeling he might be right. "Because he is... or at least was my friend... I'll find him and Crowley... And stop them however I can..." She starts trying to focus her energy on finding them.
Gadrel got a little fun at this point. Somehow, he managed to use his aura to bounce up and landed on Ryu's head, swinging his head in front of her face. "I'm distracting you! I'm distracting you!"
She grabbed the snake, stuffing him into her back pack and zipping it. "Stupid snake... Lessee... even if Crowley's aura is hidden, Yaldabaoth doesn't know how to hide his aura, I don't think at least.... so let's see...."
"Hey! Hey!" Gadrel said, his voice muffled by the back pack. "Hey! The frack! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
"No... I won't... Unless you behave you're staying in there...." She once again began to focus searching for Yaldabaoth's aura, since it was more familiar. If she had to she'd use magic so she could search through any barriers Crowley had up. "So shut it already..."
"Well do you at least having any snacks in here? God damn..." Gadrel wiggled around.
"I thought you didn't have to eat, being immortal and everything... Would you shut up if I got you food?" she managed to keep her focus while speaking with the snake... anyone watching would see a girl speaking with a voice from no where... People walked off muttering in German.
"I enjoy some Doritos every now and then for frack's sake..." Gadrel wiggled more. "Have you found them yet? It smells like girl in here."
"You're really stupid aren't you...." she shrugged. And then, she was sure she sensed them. "Think I got it..." after using a spell to break any barriers blocking her aura sense, she was sure she had found Yaldabaoth... "Ich ben zo gut^^" she smirked, speaking for a little bit in German... freaking out anyone watching even more.
"I dunno what that means, but I'm going to assume you found them?" Gadrel asked, suddenly on her shoulder. Teleportation was a mere parlor trick.
"It means I am so good, and yes..." Crowley might be able to mask his aura... but Yalda-san never learned that trick... And if you could do that the whole time, why didn't you... Baka..."
"Because I'm fun." Gadrel said amused.
"If you weren't totally evil I'd want to keep you as a pet... Now... just to get to them before they try to use the damn book..." she started charging her aura, to teleport. It took her a few seconds, as it was a fairly new skill.
"Well, Demiurge, it appears your young lover is here." Crowley said, jotting something down on a notepad.
Yaldabaoth turned around. "R-Ryu.."
"Hello^^... Scuse me, but I believe you took something of mine..." she motioned towards the book. "I'm here to take it back before you both get yourselves killed..."
"Sorry. Can't do that. Gadrel?" Crowley said.
Gadrel lept from Ryu's shoulder and suddenly wrapped his body around her two hands, tying them together like a make-shift handcuff set.
"You think that'll work?" she surrounded her hands in flames. and slipped out of the snakes grip, and then tossed Gadrel to Crowley. "You really don't get how evil that book is do you... No matter what you do, it's only capable of evil..." ~And Yalda-san... I don't want you killed by it...~
Crowley caught Gadrel casually. "Well, actually, you're too late. It hasn't made a peep," he smiled sinisterly, "And I revived Satanail a half hour ago."
"...If it hasn't made a peep... That's actually even worse..." she barely surpressed a shudder. "Planning on absorbing you into it... Not fun really.... And if you did, why aren't you off to get your gnosis or whatever?" She focuses sending a message to Michael. ~Too late Satanail's revived according to Crowley... Not positive what that means... but it can't be good...~
"Well as soon as it shows what it means we'll know... but I'm sure it isn't... good..." Michael muttered, to himself, hearing Ryu's thoughts. "Anything else?"
~Not that I know of... only just found them...~
"My dear...there's a difference between living, and being alive." Crowley said. "Gadrel..." Gadrel began to slither into a dark corner of the room. "You see, I've been in contact with Satanail for years. He has ensured my youth...for you see, he planted himself onto this planet as Gadrel."
Yaldabaoth looked over as Gadrel slowly began to assimilate with a weak old man huddled in the corner.
"And the reason that we haven't been seeking Gnosis..." Crowley continued, "Is because, you see, Satanail...just didn't have the thinking in mind to do it. But then again, it's hard to think when you're consciousness is off somewhere else."
The old man in the corner stood, and began to grow young. He was now looking to be around twenty years old, eyes like a snake, but with beautiful skin that looked full of life. Two wings that were scaled like a snake, rather than feathered, emerged from his back. He smiled, and looked at everyone. "Hello."
~Michael... Something majorly freaky just happened... Tell sensei that Gadrel transformed.... The snake... Crowley's pet.... Feels... pretty strong too... This... might not be good...~
"Alright... Kisuhara.... Eh... something's going on..."
"...With Crowley?"
"No with his snake..."
Satanail smiled, walking to the trio. "Ah...this feels wonderful. I haven't felt this good since the days of Eden..." He turned to Yaldabaoth. "Good to see you, father." He smirked.
Yaldabaoth clenched his fist, but said nothing. Satanail was the angel who lead the initial rebellion against him in the first place.
"And you must be Emma...but they call you Ryu, don't they?"
"How...the hell do you know..." Ryu went pale. "How they hell do you know my name?" She shook her head. "It doesn't matter how you know it... But... Why?" she clenched her hands into fists.
~Her name...?~ Yaldabaoth thought. ~...Her name is Emma?~
"I know many many things, my dear. You'll find that most of what you want to know...past, present...future...is available to anyone. If they have the will to seek it." Satanail said.
"Shut it! I dropped that name three years ago... I'm Ryu now, and that's all I'll ever want to be known as!" Her aura sparked, her anger rising. Him bringing up that name hurt a lot. Made her remember so much pain...
"I'm sorry." Satanail apologized, sounding actually sincere. "I should have known...Fate had written your story so cruely." He smiled. "And that's quite an impressive aura for one so young...You'd almost pose a threat..."
"Just shut up!" she summoned her aura blades, anger blinding her judgement. She just wanted him to shut up. She unleashed the dragon spirit boosting her even more.
Satanail just watched, not preparing himself for battle. "You'll find, child, that I'm much more potent than your previous enemies...You've fought gods and angels...but never a devil."
"Maybe not.... But I'm willing to try!" ~I'll kill you... For saying my name... for bringing that up... You'll die... I'll kill you... myself... No matter what... I just wanted to forget that part of me... to leave that past behind... But you couldn't resist could you?~
Satanail sighed somewhat. "You don't want to fight me. I can kill you rather easily, and I feel that now is not the time for you to die."
