Description

The opener to a ficlet by a friend of mine. Raidou, after a somewhat angst-imbued night, wakes up before Genma does and finds himself brooding about his appearance.
A different style than my usual, as far as inking and shading goes, and I'm happy with it. Even the background doesn't bug me too much.

There are a LOT of fans who'd disagree with any self-consciousness on Raidou's part, and I'm one of them.
Very nice picture, you can see the sadness in his face, and maybe some regret as well, perhaps misplaced shame over the fact that he's not physically "perfect" for his lover . . .
