near the end of the story. Wufei ends up hurt when Blade attacks them. unable to stop herself from doing so due to the brain implant that gives Warren the owner of NEOGENESIS she must hurt her friends and Wufei takes the bigger part of the beating so he could get close enough to help her break free.
