Avatar Mei-rin

My first drawing with my new Tablet (drawing type not those i-pad type things)! I call her Tabbie 2.0 and she works so amazingly awshum.

This picture is a mix between paint shop pro 7 and photoshop elements 10.

Avatar Aang stopped the great war between the firenation and the world.
Avatar Korra brought balance between benders and none benders.

Now Avatar Mei-rin is born in a world where bending barely exists anymore. People who bend are outcast and all children to be born must be registered with the ministry of republic affairs. They use a water bender man to tell if the child will be a bender and if it is they kill the child upon birth in an attempt to end bending powers.

The world is in chaos and Mei-rin is born to a street woman who flees to the country side. There the young mother leaves her child with a woman in her late 30's and begs her to hide the child if possible or at the very least make sure no one finds out any bending talent the child might have.

The woman agrees and manages to hide the child for 5 years with help from her local doctor. When found out she claims that the child wasn't hidden just sick and unable to go out and that in all her 5 years of age the child hasn't shown any skill for bending.

Mei-rin is 14 when her mother tells her that she's sort of adopted. She then is also told that her adoptive mother believes her to be the avatar child destined to bring back the balance and ban out the chaos.

Mei-rin on her journey meets street smart Paku a none bender boy who's gotten by purely on luck and the skills he picked up on the street, Suzuki a fire bender girl who is afraid of her own abilities and Zuko named after a late fire lord from the olden days and ironically a water bender.

Later they are joined by Riku a none bender who first seemed to want to betray them but sees them rescue people using earth bending and joins them. She claims it's because she saw that the government had been lying to them and bending isn't some devil's work, but a natural thing which can be used to do wonderful things.

Along the way Mei-rin meets mostly none benders and sees a world where people with bending are considered freaks of nature and lesser beings. She must find bending teachers in a world that barely has any benders left and bring balance to a chaotic world.
