er...actually i have...n I read it in a sonic comic before, an official one...+ i think its in one outcome in the game shadow the hedgehog..oh and this is zero velocity 9 months later ^^

What the rings and pads?
No. I already know.
The rings are to keep Shadow's energy going while in battle or running. And when he puts the rings on, the pads are there so the rings don't dig into him. K?
