Bullsnake is correct. Just go on to Google and type Japanese to English to Japanese dictionary, and type "Kakashi" in the Japanese to English section. It means "Scarecrow or Figurehead."

according to my Japanese dictionary..

"Karasu" is "crow" (or a verb meaning to kill plants but the characters are different when you write it)

"Kakashi" is "Scarecrow"

My guess is the translation in Shonen Jump is wrong ^^;

I don't know how they could mess that up. If you look at the katakana for his name in the Naruto manga, it CLEARLY says "Kakashi"

ah well ^^;

This is a cool pic regardless of the stuff to do with his name :P

Eh, actually "karasu" is scarecrow. Shonen Jump did a name translation thing, so I would know.(I subscribe) Anyways... TOO CUTE!!!
