This was also done for a gaia online contest (which I won the grand prize of 1,000,000 gold). She had tons of avatars to pick from to draw, so I picked the pirate, just because I love pirates (and the rest of her avatars were pretty frilly and I didn't want to draw cute, I wanted sexy)! You can tell how much I've improved with just getting a tablet! I love it!

hehe . . . You pulled off the look you were going for very well! I love how you specifically picked the one that was deviant. Her green eye is especially beautiful! The shading is very graduated and lovely! So much of the picture is incredibly realistic. I had no idea people would make masterpieces for a bunch of gold. My gold is piling up, so maybe I should start a constest eventually XDD! The problem is that the ones you mention have hundreds of thousands for a prize while I only have 40k XDD! THANKS!! I was so afraid I wouldn't win, because the chin is out of proportion. I wanted her to appear looking up slightly, but when I inked it, her chin just turned out abnormally huge! ^_^
