When you look at this picture they don't really seem like couples.They look for like siblings, I think its the way they are hugging thats why.
If you want to make them more like couples you should make the pictures look more personal or romantic.
Know what I mean?
So you can show the people what these two characters feel for each other.
Anyways, it is a very cute picture and its very awesomely drawn.
