Ok. Some people have ask me what dragicorns exactly are. Here comes the answer!

This one is a so called midland or forrest-dragicorn. I prefer the first name because they not only live in forrest. There are three other types, the silver-dragicorn, the mountain-dragicorn and the „giants“ (i havn´t a name for them). I will explain them later.

In general dragicorns are omnivores, means they eat plants and fruits, but also hunts for animals which live in bigger groups or herds like cattles, deers or kanecs (don´t ask me what kanecs are, i will add a pic later). Only one special group of „giants“ are herbivores. On the skull on the left side you see where the horns were placed (1), the fangs (2) and the grinds (3).

The six spikes on his tail (4) and those on his neck point out that they descent from dragons. They are hard like diamonds and were used in fights. Same for the horns (5); there can be up to three, it depends on the age. And dragicorns can become more than 150 years old.

The „fur“ consist of small downy feathers and the mane (6) of long (up to 70 cm) and very flexible ones. They can have all kind of colores but mostly they are brown, dark green or grey in all possible shadings.

A dragicorn-hoof consists of two claws (8) which were changed into a splittet hoof. Only on the forelegs they have two claws (7) which they use to hold down their prey.

Any questions left?
