Gotta mouth like an alligator

Hey! Look what Corn so irresponsibly did! 8D As if I didn't have enough of my own characters to tend to...thank God they're not children. XD

Well, actually, these two ARE children. :D Just not real ones, so that's not a problem. XD Um, they're supposed to be around twelve-years-old, but I'm bad at representing age in my characters, and their mentality suggests otherwise sometimes. XD

So let's get to know them:

The first kid there is Andrew. Andrew lives with his mom only, and is possibly the weirdest kid in his town. The jacket he wears was his father's, but he left it when he left Andrew's mom, and they haven't seen or heard from him since. Andrew doesn't wear the jacket so much out of memory of his father, but more or less for the fact it just looks really cool. Since he's out late at night a lot, there's a bicycle reflector sewn onto the back of it, which you can't see in the picture. XD

Andrew has no friends..or real friends, at least The little girl next to him there is the closest thing. XD But I'll explain her later. ANYWAY, Andrew hangs out in the local graveyard often, digging up worms to fish with, despite the fact he rarely goes fishing. Cruel rumors suggest that he eats them, but in reality he doesn't. He gets picked on a lot for such things...

Otherwise, he enjoys sci-fi and horror comics (usually older than he is), B-movies, and old heavy metal. He probably knows ten times more than any kid his age about cult media EVER and could seriously blow the mind of anyone around, one way or another. He's also pretty gifted in the ways of philosophy and literature...a skill he normally hides.

THEN there's Susan. Susan moved to Andrew's town not too long ago, but has already become very well adjusted. While she seems normal enough, she's actually just as weird as Andrew is. However, she better at social skills and can use it to her advantage most of the time. She met Andrew one day when she stumbled across him getting bullied. While she did nothing to help him, she approached him once it was safe and tried to comfort him afterward. It's been a weird love-hate relationship ever since.

She finds supernatural things fascinating, as well as things having to deal with death. She and Andrew often get into debates over their views on such things, usually coming back to the discussion of diseased zombies vs. living-dead zombies. I don't believe they'll ever come to agreement on it...

Meanwhile, her home life includes living with her dad ever since her mom passed away years ago. Her dad is goofy, and often annoys her, so she spends most of her time hanging out with Andrew. Deep down inside, though, she probably loves her dad. Probably. XD Oh, and if you ask what that ribbon on her arms means, she'll respond, "To remember", and if you ask her what she's trying to remember, she'll say, "Not to forget." :D

Title comes from listening to Quiet Riot's "Bang Your Head (Mental Health)" and the line "I'm like a laser, 6-streamin' razor, I gotta mouth like an alligator!" while I was drawing this. XD

I'm not sure what supernatural beast Andrew is trying to describe to her, but she doesn't seemed impressed by it. :D
