Haha! Lame background is LAME! But enough about that, I'm sure many questions come to mind...
"Why is Aud being dunked?"
"How come his face looks so weird?"
better yet...
"Why is Audrey in a dress?"
Answers:
We'll start with the Audrey being in a dress one, because the rest fall along behind it. XD Um, garrenn and I were discussing stuff, as we often do, and I decided I wanted to draw Audrey in a dress. From there I decided to work that into the story somewhere. XD
SO, I decided that Audrey, being the insane person he is, comes up with a plan to dress up as a woman, and gain the trust of the women in a nearby town (so no one would recognize him) and then from there flush out which ones were witches.
Of course, life for a Puritan woman was much different from that of a Puritan man, and I know good and well that Audrey wouldn't realize that. XD For one, a woman wasn't allowed to make outbursts in town, such as speak her mind or talk back, especially to a man. This would result in her getting sent to the ducking stool (the device Audrey is stuck in there). And we all know how Aud likes being heard...
Thus, there he is. And for the record, he's utterly confused on so many levels. XD Ducking stools were a woman only punishment. This was because ladies were believed to be fragile and petite. It would go easy on them, and getting dunked in water was much too girly of a punishment for a man. BUT Audrey is fragile and petite. XD I think he'd prefer the stocks, no lie. :D
I should make a dude hit on him the entire time he's undercover to make matters worse...and throw Jed in there somewhere. XD
Oh, and his face look weird because I usually draw his eyes all squinty and evil and "I must kill thee!" and now they're all rounded and frightened and "Please don't put me in that nasty water again!" XD That's my theory. =/

I like his face. It's a different look for him, but it worked out well. :D
