"...a true smart @$$."
XD Um...Idaknow, just that look on his face made me think of that line from Steel Magnolias. :D It's 9/36 of this -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcYpAddkZBI if you wanna hear it. XD
ANYWAY, this is an alternate universe version of Audrey Whitaker, now the Self-proclaimed Spook Hunter as opposed to Puritan Extraordinaire as he usually titles himself. :D I hope you like him. XD
He is now a Southern gentleman from the nineteenth century, most likely Victorian era. I didn't get too specific. XD
He's more or less gone from witch hunter to supernatural expert. While he does have to deal with witches from time to time, they're not his specialty as once was. If there's one thing that can be said, the south is full of ghost stories. So ghosts are a big part of his time now. Voodoo is a biggie during said time period as well. So it's more of a mix now...
He's not as psycho now either. Whereas Puritan Audrey's OCD revolved around witch hunting, southern gentleman Audrey's OCD is more toward cleanliness. He doesn't trust the cleanliness of anything he didn't wash himself, and will often go behind a person recleaning things before he has anything to do with it (Ex. dusting of a chair before he sits in it, wiping on the edges of a cup before he drinks from it, etc.). This usually annoys people, he's come to find out, and tries to do so in secret most of the time. XD
Also, while Puritan Audrey went into things headfirst and showed little to no fear when bent on a plight, southern gentleman Audrey is rather skittish despite his profession. He won't hesitate to stop any ghastly ghouls or spooks should he be needed to vanquish them, BUT he does so with caution...and a little dread before he actually gets into it. XD
There is one thing they have in common, however. Southern gentleman Audrey, though not as strict as Puritan Audrey, is still very religious as well as superstitious. He keeps a little bible in his jacket at all times and still wears the cross necklace, though you can't see it under his layers of clothing. XD He'll even go pretty far out of his way if it is for the prevention of bad luck. :D
Not only that, but like Puritan Audrey, he tends to think a little too highly of himself. XD He grudgingly houses himself whatever farm house he's welcomed in, and tends to think of its inhabitants as uneducated. None-the-less, he shows more gratitude than Puritan Audrey. XD
I think that about covers it for now...
