This is the cover of a can that I had to for a book report. I got all points for the cover thank you. But I......err......lost points for the presentation. I can't do public speaking. But well. This is a great book. You should read it if you even remotely like fantasy.

well i see it as that...as like i see the hobit and the rest of the LOTR series as one in my mind...but...meh...depends on how u look at it...anyway...nice series...

First King of Shannara was written after ALL of the books you listed. It should not be lumped in with the first three.

I've only read the sword of shannara trilogy;_;...I can't wait to read all the others though!^_^ thanx for the name of one I haven't read!^^,

your story is the same as mine! i read the school's library versions and now bought several of the newer version(for a really cheap price too ^_^) and i guess in series the heritage is my favorite too, the intricate plots are great aren't they?! more cookies! yay!

hurray for shannara! this is a great pic! i remember when i first read this series, the books my library had were this version (the ones i bought later are the newer ones with landscape covers). you did a wonderful job on the shading and colouring and yea allanon looks so cool! awesome lettering, too<br />

the heritage series is my favourite so far, i think, since it's the first i read, but the 1st series is amazing as well. i love so many of the characters and of course the intricate plot can't be beat. keep drawing!

yes that is allanon. my favorite character of shannara. and shannara is my favorite series too! yay more shannara fans! cookies to all you fans(Juli and BAMF_Maniac) This one isnt my favorite of the series, the druid of shannara and the wishsong are my favorite but im currently reading the end of this series, the talismans of shannara. Have u read any of those...(anyone open to answer question). Go us shannara fans! and thanx 4 the comment Juli.

This was actually my favorite series of Shannara. Your picture is really awesome! I like the way Allanon's wraith looks (um that is him right) its very mysterious.
