However if you really want to improve, you should put more time into your drawings, whether you think this one took a long time or not, you can always do better.
It's not the amount of drawings you put out in one afternoon, or week. It's the Quality of the work. 5 rubbish works where you learn nothing ? or 1 really amazing drawing where you learn alot ?
Just stay focused when drawing this drawing is decent, however notice more details, if not for the sunglasses or NEO/the one few might have recognised this. you have potential, you just need to stay focused and have patience. That doesn't meen wait around for something though, it meens get to work and get to that something. there will always be those that seem to be discouraging you, as you might think of this as right now. This is just some decent advice.
Bored have some free time draw, paint invent a creature draw it. Just continue practicing . and before it's too late in a drawing, notice anything seem off ? fix it, or leave, but if you draw something again later, Fix it. and Keep sketching, always have a pencil and pad with you.
Try doing quick sketches of action or people in motion, where you don't have time to get eveything down before they move, this will also improve your ability to notice detail and get it down quickly.
