Why is Zuko smiling you ask? I don't know. But I think the quote 'Don't get mad, get even' suits well for this piece ;)
Or maybe he's just happy to be wearing Fire Nation clothing again?
I'm still trying work out where the shading goes on faces and how to colour hair.
Sketched by hand with my best friend, edited and coloured on photoshop by me.

hey. great pic. as far as shading and everything goes it looks great. Nothing looks off. and the hair is nearly perfect. the only thing I think you might want to try when it comes to hair, is use a smaller brush size. the way that I do hair/fur is by using a base color(in this case, dark brown) then I would go and use the shading tools. I usually start with the dodge tool and use the second or third smallest brush size and put down a small spot. usually just one or two clicks in the same spot and then I use the smudge tool with the smallest size and at the hightest exposure and just push that dot and it starts to look like hair. Of course this method is labor intensive. Id id a picture of Splinter and Donny from TMNT and put in every little hair on splint by hand and it took me about 4 hours. if you want to see that pic to see what I am talking about it's in my gallery.(I only have one pic at the moment) great job though.
