Who gives a hoot that Maes is married and all? This couple could have happened anytime, before and after you know. D: Hey, lots of people do go for someone else even after they're married you know... hope you knew that.

Also, this did have a YAOI warning you know. If you ignored that, you're a fool for not reading. Better learn how to read more better, m'kay?

Anyways, awesome job with this picture here sunnyday. I was never one to think of this pairing much, but I do enjoy these two together, and I really think they would really go together. They're kind of cute. :3

Superb job overall with the picture and how you did the tones. I'm impressed with how you did them. Did you happen to find some tone brushes to use for this?

Either way, you did a wonderful job overall with this picture.

Sorry to see that there are people who fail to read warnings and have the guts to give really bad comments on how they think this couple could never be.

God, Sunnyday, I love your artwork. Maes/Roy is the best couple there is simply by virtue of the dynamics involved; Maes needs someone to love unconditionally and Roy needs someone who can take charge once in a while so he has a chance to rest and take a break from his level of authority.

To those people who are so rude to dis this couple instead of just shaking their heads and walking away, this is FANART for crying out loud! Not everything revolves around canon; perhaps in this altiverse Maes decided that he loved Roy BEFORE he got involved with Gracia. Sheesh.

Sorry about ranting, anyway, back to the picture; I love the manga-style drawing, it adds to the feeling of the picture and makes it that much more "real" somehow. The look on Roy's face is priceless, our dear taisa looking so startled out of his usual confident control, that's what I love about Maes/Roy. =)
