OtC: Annie the Paperdoll

Yes, yes. I know some of you are screaming right now. “Comix posted more OtC! Comix posted more OtC!” You may rejoice. It’s okay. It really is. XD

Now…I decided that if I was going to draw for OtC, I needed something to break away from the Undersea section for awhile. All of the REALLY good stuff is after, so I needed a chance to draw something ELSE so I don’t get bored of the whole area. So…until I finish the Undersea creatures and places…I shall draw my paper doll section when I’m tired of tails. -_-‘ Har har.

This comes from the bottom section of my childhood drawing box, which is a section dedicated to paper dolls. It’s more of a minisection, so I thought it’d be okay to break with. I drew up a dozen paperdolls…probably in the fourth grade. Annie was one of these girls. She’s standing around in her underwear because that’s just what paperdolls DO out of their outfits. They stand in their underwear. If it freaks you out…it’s a swim suit. XD

So…let me tell you a bit about Annie. I have no IDEA where fourth grade me pulled me name from. Annie Betsy? Besty Ann has a MUCH better ring. But…Annie Betsy is her name…and I’m not changing it for the sake of older me. That would be wrong. Dunno where Kabka came from either. Well…as her information reads…her birthday is May 11th…and in the fourth grade or so she was about as old as me…hence 1991. She has a variety of hobbies. Some match her girly nature such as ballet, cooking, and sewing…while others like basketball are just like wow…really? She’s a percussionist…she’s an odd little thing.

And she IS twiggy. Whenever I see kids they’re little spindly things…so I drew her as such. It matches those legs on the other side! Ha ha. I think the hardest part was thinking about her hair. This style, as you can tell…was a later childhood drawing of mine. Hair is vague. So..I thought of it pulled back…something that I doubt I’ve ever REALLY drawn. I think it went well…don’t you?
