well its a simple technique called wet on wet, that is the paper is wet and the brush is soaked in thick color as well. When you put in on low grade paper it has a tendency to branch out and run everywhere. Those are just dots by a large brush that did that on their own. I also used a little salt to soak up some of the water.But also, its not a large picture. The original is only like 2x2in. ya.
