pamplemousse skunk

Everything in this work represents someone that I know.

When I first met him, I didn't know his name so I called him pamplemousse (grapefruit in french) as a crappy nickname- that's whats sitting between the skunks legs.

A skunk is there because for whatever reason he reminded me of a skunk. He still does, actually. Only he doesn't stink as much.

He smokes.

His shirt is green because I was never really sure if he smoked pot or not. Also because he's just kind of a grungy sort of guy.

The two bracelets represent his high school colors.

"You know it's gonna be alright." Is something he had said once, and now I represent that with him.

There are many other things about this work that I want to go on about, why I choose the mediums that I did and what the other objects in this work represent. Or, at least, to elaborate further on those I have already brought up. I can't due to privacy issues and I want this to say anonymous.
