Chapter 1 - truth
Truth
Looking for the truth from behind a faceted lens,
Trying to comprehend everything in riddles,
Quietly screaming for an answer.
Looking only where the answer is not,
Missing by a thousand miles or missing by an inch,
Mistaking the shadows for a candle flame.
Wasted ink upon a page,
Leading to nothing and ending in shame.
When a dream within a dream
Makes more sense than reality,
And a glimpse into another's soul
Is found within his eyes,
Then the gateway of our mind is opened
And is diagnosed as insanity.
