Chapter 2 - A Change in Plans
Meowzers got a table set up, ready for lunch. The doorbell rang.
"It must be her!" he said as he rushed to the door. He opened the door and his eyes grew wide.
"H-Harriet?" Meowzers said.
"Ed!" Harriet said as she hugged Meowzers.
"W-wow, it's been forever."
"Only six years."
"It feels like a hundred!"
"So how've you been?"
"I've been well, you?"
"I've been good too."
"So, let's have lunch." Meowzers escorted Harriet to the table.
(Wow, it's amazing how much she's changed. She's so beautiful)
"I'm making chicken. You still like chicken right?" Meowzers said.
"Yeah." said Harriet. Meowzers went in the kitchen and put a chicken in the oven.
"You know, you didn't have to do all of this, just for me." Harriet said.
"Of course I did. You ARE a guest here after all." Meowzers said.
"Aw, you're too sweet."
"Thanks." Meowzers had a hard time keeping his eyes off of Harriet. (She's gotten so beautiful in the past six years. Maybe I should say something...)
