Chapter 1 - The Girl in White
Chapter 1 - The Girl in White
She Stands there alone
The girl in White
Just waiting there
Outside in the Night
Watching the stars
And greeting the rest
As she stands there
Under the Families Crest
She was told to wait
There by the gate
For her Date to come
To the Family estate
The Night before
He promised her forever
And told her that life
Would soon get better
She sat there in thought
Just watching the sky
And awaiting her love
As the hours drifted by
Soon The Others left
And the Gates were sealed
Yet she was still standing
The Truth now Revealed
The Clouds rolled in
And with a heavy sigh
The girl walked away
And started to cry
The thunder clapped
And the roses she gripped
Were tossed into the street
As her heart ripped
The Rain fell harder
As she walked into the dark
Never to be seen
And with the lightning’s last spark
She vanished forever
Left without a trace
Never a smile
To be seen on her face
The girl in White
