It was a dark night in a forest near Traverse town as a girl ran down the trail her cloak floating behind her, her Keyblade glimmering in the moonlight.

`Damn it how am I supposed to find heartless at this time.' the girl thought as she continued running. Then she heard loud noises of shouting straight ahead.

“Sora, you alright?” a loud and yet shrill voice shouted.

“Yeah, I'm fine.” a boy's voice shouted back. The girl ran faster following the voices and then she stopped to find a large clearing, where a boy, a duck and a dog fought a humungous black creature.

`Well today's my lucky day,' she thought as she ran into the clearing as the black creature started to attack the boy, who was practically defenseless at this point. “C'mon you heartless bastard, you have a new target!” the girl shouted at the heartless' fist came towards her. The girl dodged it and the heartless chased her until she jumped in the air and slammed her Keyblade onto the Heartless' head and split it in half and it disappeared into a cloud of smoke.

“Wow, that was so cool.” the boy said as he got off of the ground and dusted himself off. The girl swung her Keyblade onto her shoulder and was about to walk off until the boy stopped her. “Hey thanks for helping us!” he said to her.

“Huh. Oh, my name's Sora, and those two over there are Goofy and Donald.” he said as he pointed to his friends, who waved at her. “What about your name, what is it?” Sora asked as the girl smiled.

“My name's Kari, the second Keyblade Master.” she answered as the other three looked at her in shock. “What's with you boys, shocked that a girl is a Keyblade Master. Well then you didn't hear about the prophecy.” Kari said looking at them.

“What prophecy?” Sora asked as he stood there with the others.

“I'll tell you later, but first do you think we should get back to Traverse town.” Kari asked as the others nodded and all four of them left together.

When the four of them got to the town Kari had asked them where they would be able to stay and Sora told her that he had a friend named Leon and Yuffie, who owned a house nearby, so Kari agreed and they left to the place that Sora spoke of.

“Hey, Leon. Long time, no see!” Sora said as he shook hands with his friends.

“Yeah. Kari told us that there was a prophecy about the Keyblades.” Sora told them and he looked at Kari.

“But I didn't tell you guys what the prophecy was besides the part about the Keyblade Masters.” Kari said as she looked at them all.

“Well we aren't expecting anyone else, so why don't you tell us.” Leon said in his usual voice.

“I should and I will.” Kari said as she removed her cloak and it revealed that some of Kari's clothes were ripped, but nothing to bad that would reveal anything special.

“What happened to your clothes, they're so torn up?” Yuffie asked as she looked at Kari.

“Don't worry about that right now. I think it's time I told you guys about the prophecy.” Kari said as the others nodded and sat in different areas of the room, Leon just leaned against the wall, while Sora, Donald and Goofy sat in front of Kari, who was sitting in front of them, and Yuffie just sat next to Kari. “Alright. The prophecy was told like this; many worlds separated by magic were under siege by a group of villains and creatures called Heartless. Then when people thought that the worlds would be destroyed two people showed up holding blades in the shape of keys. The two fought together until the villains and the Heartless were destroyed. The kings or queens of each world declared them as the Keyblade Masters and after the two passed away the worlds were safe, but when war came again it was said that two new heroes would rise up and protect the worlds once again. And that's it.” Kari said as she looked at the others, who had confused looks except for Sora.

“Well for me it's revenge because the Heartless came to my world and destroyed everything in their paths even my parents that's why.” Kari said standing up and about to head out the door, but Sora walked up to her and placed his hand on her shoulder.

“C'mon, Kari don't feel bad. Tell you what how about you travel with us and we'll defeat all the heartless and avenge your parents together,” Sora said as Kari turned to face him with a small look of shock, but she smiled and nodded as Sora smiled and they went to Goofy and Donald. “You guys Kari is going to join us in our travels to save these worlds. If that's okay with you, Donald?” Sora said giving off a slight smile.

“Well than welcome to the team Kari!” Sora said as held out his hand and Kari shook it still smiling.

“In that case why don't you guys stay here for tonight, so you can start your adventure tomorrow,” Yuffie said while smiling at them and she grabbed Kari's arm and dragged her away from the others. “As for you, I think we should get you into some new clothes, you can borrow mine.” she said as she took Kari into her room as the others sweat dropped except for Leon.

After a while Kari got dressed in her new clothes and placed the necklace around her neck and walked up to Yuffie and the two of them left to the other room, where the boys were talking with each other. The four of them continued running until they saw a whole hoard of Heartless in the square. “Damn it there's a lot of them which means that there's a leader somewhere.” Kari muttered as Sora and them ran off into the hoard of Heartless and started destroying them all easily. When all the Heartless disappeared a weird feeling came around them all.

“Yeah, I'm fine.” a boy's voice shouted back. The girl ran faster following the voices and then she stopped to find a large clearing, where a boy, a duck and a dog fought a humungous black creature.

`Well today's my lucky day,' she thought as she ran into the clearing as the black creature started to attack the boy, who was practically defenseless at this point. “C'mon you heartless bastard, you have a new target!” the girl shouted at the heartless' fist came towards her. The girl dodged it and the heartless chased her until she jumped in the air and slammed her Keyblade onto the Heartless' head and split it in half and it disappeared into a cloud of smoke.

When the four of them got to the town Kari had asked them where they would be able to stay and Sora told her that he had a friend named Leon and Yuffie, who owned a house nearby, so Kari agreed and they left to the place that Sora spoke of.

I think it's time I told you guys about the prophecy.” Kari said as the others nodded and sat in different areas of the room, Leon just leaned against the wall, while Sora, Donald and Goofy sat in front of Kari, who was sitting in front of them, and Yuffie just sat next to Kari. “Alright. The prophecy was told like this; many worlds separated by magic were under siege by a group of villains and creatures called Heartless. Then when people thought that the worlds would be destroyed two people showed up holding blades in the shape of keys. The two fought together until the villains and the Heartless were destroyed. The kings or queens of each world declared them as the Keyblade Masters and after the two passed away the worlds were safe, but when war came again it was said that two new heroes would rise up and protect the worlds once again. And that's it.” Kari said as she looked at the others, who had confused looks except for Sora.

If that's okay with you, Donald?” Sora said giving off a slight smile.

After a while Kari got dressed in her new clothes and placed the necklace around her neck and walked up to Yuffie and the two of them left to the other room, where the boys were talking with each other. Then Kari kneeled down and started talking in the same language as it and she stood back up and the creature walked off. “C'mon it's reserved a table for us.” she said as they followed the little creature to a small table in the back.

The four of them continued running until they saw a whole hoard of Heartless in the square. “Damn it there's a lot of them which means that there's a leader somewhere.” Kari muttered as Sora and them ran off into the hoard of Heartless and started destroying them all easily. When all the Heartless disappeared a weird feeling came around them all.
