Look at the 8th graders what do you see

Ask yourself this “will this be me? ”

When we get to be that much older

Will we be like that funnier, cooler, a little bolder

Yes it does seem strange

Well it be that much we change

And how much have we changed in the past few years

Another good question my peers

Have we been to busy looking for changes of theirs

And to see each others and not notice not care

And for who are we role-models of

Certainly not 7th grade or above

So talk to the younger ones

But speak of no violence, fighting, or guns
