Chapter 1 - Trapped
I hide behind a smile
A broken child inside
Show not pain
Show not weakness
The pillar of stone for all
Come cry to me
As I feel your tears soak through my shirt
I think 'how lucky you must be'
To cry, to feel, to see
My eyes are never washed by tears
I'm sure they've lost their shine
My walls never crumble
I've trapped myself inside
I'm slowly drowning in a land of make believe
It's never what it seems
See past the illusion
See all of the pain
Most prefer illusion to reality
Most people build a wall
Not as strong as mine
I know you'll laugh upon my fall

Jeez. This has been up for, what, a month or two, and I still have no reviews! I could use the self-esteem boost, trust me. Oh well, I liked it, so I'll leave a review for myself.
