Chapter 1 - Untitled
True Love 1-15-04
Love is a feeling that no one forgets
True love is caring, not some weak bet
No one can tell you, or force you to love
Love is too delicate, like the flight of a dove
Love is too often mistaken for lust
Don’t say, “Take that one! She has a nice bust.”
Love based on looks is no love at all
Love means there’s someone to help when you fall
Love won’t come simple, and not right away
You can’t let a fight guide you astray
Love has to build, but first you must let it
You have to be patient before you can get it
True love is hard, but once it is found
There is nothing better, no sweeter sound.
True love is strong, true love lasts forever
True love is something which nothing can sever.
