New Love
 
I waswaiting for someone to see,
Just what Ican really be.
Talkingwith friends alone,
Hiding thepain unknown.
Got amessage for you to read,
Said hiseyes happily.
Thinking itwas no big deal,
Opened thenote with no seal.
Anxious tosee what’s inside,
I wasriding,
Anemotional rollercoaster ride.
The letterwas small in words,
But huge inmeaning.
Lovingsomeone is hard to do,
Especiallyif they don’t love you.
Asking forlove in return,
My heartwas beginning to burn.
Yes hurtsall the rest,
Maybe nowas best.
Strugglingfor breath,
I wasmaking a decision,
Of life ordeath.
What to do,
I have noclue.
Waited tillday ends,
Wishing itwas all pretend.
Walking towardsdecision,
Only tofind,
That I waslooking into the eyes,
Of someonekind.  
So I decidedto say,
I’m in forhurt anyway.
Smiled totell him yes,
Hoping togive my heart some rest.
Thinking ofhim all the time.
I hope he’llsee this rhyme.
I foundsomeone new.
And thefirst to tell me,
I Love You.
