Empty

In the shadows

Of my soul.

In the darkness

Lay a hole.

Deep within

a knife that cuts,

in the hole

that was my heart.



The loneliness inside

Is crushing my mind.

Since you left me

I've been empty

Knowing you're no longer

By my side



I cried till I no longer could see

Wishing you where here with me

Why is my mind so clouded?

I try,

But I can't understand it

The pieces from the puzzle are missing

As is the memory of us kissing



So many places lost to the world

I lay inside and long for an end

Why can't I just lay down and die?
