Chapter 1 - Drowning in Darkness
Drowning in Darkness
I spend my days within the shadows
Of shattered dreams and hopelessness
To cast my soul into a life full of nothingness
I spend the nights all alone, hiding within my darkest nightmares
And I long for this nightmare to end
So I may enter my dreamland of purple skies
And candy clouds of lullaby
But I know it will never come, though I still wait
And I shall continue to hide
Though it may be in vain
I still wait, in the drowning darkness
I spend my days within the shadows
