Ink flows through our veins
Letting our idea flow onto the page
Pain pulses from our hearts
Letting us live and learn
Blood drips from our wrists
Helping us cope and forget
This is the way we are
This is what we've become
Maybe time will change us
But for today
What you see is what you get
And I don't plan on changing
