Chapter 1 - Writer's Block
Writer's Block
Opaque, Huge,
Blocking my way.
I push and push,
With no success.
I see what I want on the other side,
That golden creativity,
That I use to create my stories and poems,
All out of reach.
I grab a metal bat
And hit that wall,
But I make no dent,
Don't even leave a mark.
I take an axe,
And hack away,
I see marks, but that is all,
My creativity is only milimeters closer then before.
I feel an embrace around my shoulders,
Warm and comforting,
My inspiration has finally come,
And together we grab my axe.
Swinging,
I hear the metal axe-head singing,
I feel the impact,
Metal against glass,
And I feel the shards hitting my face,
And the golden light of which is my creativity
Flowing through my veins,
Letting my hand flow freely across the paper.
I thank my inspiration.
