Chapter 1 - Untitled

From the darkness of the nights shadows,

I watch you, always willing to be there.

Always in hope you will be mine forever,

Yet I feel now I can not win, so I am cast,

To the shadows of the night to live alone.

I know from the shadows I shall be,

Alone forever, never able to hear you say,

I love you; yet I dare not show, this fact to you,

I've been condemned to the shadows,

Always watching you do what you do,

Always wishing that you would be mine,

And save me from the shadows,

That for so long have plagued my life.

Since I saw you for the first time,

I knew you may be the one to save me,

For the darkness I am forced to face.

Yet as long as I will know,

I can not have you so I will face,

The darkness of my past and future alone,

And forever.
