He was about to kill them,
and he was laughing.

She walked up the all so familiar steps,
to an all so familiar hut.
Slowly she walked in.
“Kaede...are you here?�
“Ka—gome, is that really ye?�
“Yea.�
“My child what are you doing here?�
“I decided to see how everyone was doing.�
“Oh....�
Kaede paused.
Not as if she was thinking of something to say,
she was saying plenty.
Something bad had happened.
“Kaede, what is wrong.�
“It’s....�
Once agin she paused.
She has a scared look in her eyes...
And there was sadness.
It looked as if what she was about to say,
would change Kagome’s life forever....
It did.
“....InuYasha.�
“What about InuYasha ? What is wrong with him? Is he...god no!�
“No my child, he is alive but...�
“But what?�
“He has changed...�
“Changed how?�
She was unsure why,
but she feared the answer.
What could have happened to InuYasha,
that would make Kaede act like she was afraid of him.
....What had happened?
“My child, he is but a demon now...�
“D–emon.�
“....One who only lives to kill.�
