A Poem



Dreaming in the dark,

The shadows creep on me,

Nightmares sinking in,

No one hears my screams.



You left me alone, with tears on my cheek,

My soul broken on the ground, that I know longer seek,

Alone in the dark, no one can see,

All I'm asking you is to just help me!



Just hold me in the darkness, sing a whispering song,

Don't let my tears I cry…fall.

Just take me to the dark

Let the breeze take my heart, and don't come searching after me,

Cause I won't be there, and the night will tear you apart.



Let the nightmares rush in, let the evil seek me out,

It won't get you cause I won't let it out.

I'll be a warrior of the heavens above,

And when I die I'll be a heavenly dove.



You left me in the dark,

The shadows creeping in,

You may have betrayed me, but I'll die for you sin.

I'll kill your evil, and that means I will win.



Nightmares sinking in,

No one hears my screams,

A second chance given to you,

For you to save the world,

And yes that means you will be saved too.
