Even while knowing
You will never again walk our way.

I wasn't strong enough
My strength was no good.
They call me a savior
But I couldn't save you.

I aspired to be like you
Every minute, every day.
But now you're gone,
So far away.

"Why fear something that you spent your whole life in? The darkness..."

So now I'm left standing
Alone on these hills,
Haunted by memories
Wishing for you.
Still dreaming our dreams that'll never come true.

"Hold me while I'm here, love me when I'm gone."

What's a kingdom,
Without a king?
Everything's falling apart
Corrupt, collapsing.
Fights being lost
And lives are the cost.
Our empire's dying
And our promises breaking.

"Don't let me down."

Thought it'd be a lifetime
But it was only 4 moons.
Without you here,
There's nothing left to lose.
Just one last time
I want to see you
But, I'm afraid,
I can't get through.

"Someday... I'll make it happen."

I'm standing on the edge
Of everything I've never seen
But I'm blind without your sight
Same sad view without your light.
Now I'll have to go back to my old pretending;
Because it's true, there are no happy endings.


"Heh, 'long live the king,' how ironic..... A 'king', that's me. A selfish asshole who couldn't do anything right and spent all day playing with dolls and drawing shootty pictures...... A fitting death for the undeserving, slow and painful. Stop trying to save me. This is for real. I'm dying, and nothing you can do will bring me back........ This is how my story's ending. But...
