Chapter 1 - True Feelings
We always hang together
As the teens would call it
Even though you often show it
I know you really want it
You hide your feelings
I hide my feelings
We all hide our true feelings about each other
In this world
I have hookers
You have wives
We’re ladies men
And nothing otherwise
People think we’re together
And you always correct them
Even though I now realize
That you wish it was true
You say you find another girl
Another possible wife
Even though I understand
That you truly want a man
I like women
You like women
Women are fun, more exciting
Yet, I am intrigued by you
Egh, gay is just a word
A word people look down on
But even though I figured out
That you love me
I still can’t comprehend
You looked at me
You smiled weakly
You opened your mouth and raised your hand
Then you said the three most evil words
You said ‘I love you’
And you went on
You kept on saying you always have
And always will love me truly
I couldn’t say it back to you
Even though it might be true
I will not say ‘I love you too’
Until you show me you mean it.
