Chapter 1 - Untitled
How does it feel to be used?
A question worth asking,
Feelings utterly abused,
While others see it as multi tasking,
What is it like to be lied to?
When you are looked in the eyes,
By the one who claims to love you?
When you need a calculator to count all of the lies,
How dies it feel to give something away,
When the one who takes it puts it aside,
Using you as nothing more than someone to brighten her day,
What is it like to be me?
What is it like to see what I see?
What is it like to feel this way so alone?
What is it like to be me?
So scared and empty that I no longer can see,
Something as true as a love is so very far away,
It is like this for me every day.
How many times should I cry?
For a past that pays me no mind,
How many time should I try,
When true love is so easy to find,
How many times should I feel?
Like no one loves me the way that I need,
I wish for something so real,
That my time is consumed by heartache and greed.
What is it like to be me?
What is it like to see what I see?
What is it like to feel this way so alone?
What is it like to be me?
So scared and empty that I no longer can see,
Something as true as a love is so very far away,
It is like this for me every day.
It's like this for me every day.
