Chapter 2 - Smokey Fields
Kagome opened her eyes to the sun and looked around herself. She was in a large feild that had a dark forest on the right, far off.
"Inuyasha?" she asked, "Sango?" she continued to look around herself, worried, "Miroku!? Shippo!?" Feeling depressed, she lay
back down in the grass. The wind stirred her hair and the long, light green grass around her as a slight breeze blew. She sat up and hugged
herself.
A dark form emurged from the forest, "Inuyahsa?!" Kagome cried, hoping with everything she was that Inuyasha was there to take her away.
The for drew closer and she realized that it wasn't Inuyasha, she frightfully drew back, slowly taking steps back while keeping her eyes on him.
"Shesshoumaru?!" she asked in a shaky voice.
He stared down on her and followed as she slowly retreated.
"What do you want?" She asked him.
He held up his hands, he was wearing white gloves, and somehow Kagome knew those were so he couldn't hurt her. He reached for
her, not saying a word. She held up her hands in front of her face as he grabbed her wrists.
"What do you want?!" She asked more frantically this time.
"I want... you Kagome"
"What?!" Her cry came out at a shreik.
He began to lean down on her, watching her with undoubtable lust in his eyes.
Kagome turned her head away from him and tried to wrentch her hands away from his. "Inu... yasha!" she yelled. "heeeeelllp" she whispered
as Sesshoumaro drew closer....slowly....slowly.....
A large white dog emerged from the forest and ran towards them. Sesshoumaru stood straight as the dog stopped not to far from them.
"Inuyasha!!" Kagome exclaimed, knowing the dog was him, but not sure how. The dog growled at Sesshoumaru, who was taking his hands
off of hers. "Inuyasha!" she cried and ran forward. Inuyasha growled again, she looked behind her where Shesshoumaru used to stand, a small wisp
of smoke fading into the air was all that remained.
"Inuyasha?" She turned back to the dog, who was bounding into the forest. She started to run after him, "Inuyasha! wait....please don't
go!" She yelled, he dissapeared into the forest, and Kagome stopped, not willing to follow any more. "Please don't go....." She whispered into the wind.
She carefully walked back to where she woke up. She found a small body on the ground.
"Shippo!" she screamed, he didn't move. She knelt besides him, calling his name. She felt his forehead, "You're burning up!" Kagome bit her lip.
"Snowfoil!" She cried, not knowing where it came from. She racked her brain, trying to think as she looked around, she looked back down at Shippo.
"Shippo?!" the little fox was gone. Kagome sat with her head on her arms with her arms on her knees. There was a russle of grass but no breeze.
She looked up, "Kouga...?" She murmered.
He said nothing, his blue eyes looking right through her.
"Kouga!" She said, and jumped forward to hug him. She fell to the ground, and a wisp of smoke was all that remained of him.
She sat down again. Feeling half dead and hopeless. She fell backwards and layed in the grass, she closed her eyes to the bright
glare of the sun.
