Chapter 4 - Sweet and Sour Cherries ^^

"Would you like some cherries, Miss Kagome?"

Kagome looked up to see a half demon holding a large, woven basket of cherries out to her. The fox

hanyou was wearing a long-sleeved dress that came down to her theighs, with a tan fur trim at the neck,

top of the boots, and ankles. A tan belt matched the fur and hung loosely around her waist, tilting to the left.

The fur trim at the top exposed her pale shoulders and neck that was fashined witha thick band of red ribbon.

The hands were covered by the long, baggy sleeves as she held the basket out to Kagome. Her boots went

just above her knees. The red was the same colour as Inuyasha's red. Kagome looked away sadly. Her tail

was long and furry, orange with the most part of the tip white. Her ears matched the orange and had thin white

fur on the inside. Her eyes were bight green and her hair raven black. Her lips had black lipstick on them, contrasting

amazingly against her pale skin.

"Who.. ar you?" Kagome asked, slightly dazed.

her bright geen eyes twinkled as she said: "I, am Yuunou Hotaru, witchdoctor, preistess," she winked, "and

sorceress." she said the last one fairly dramatically, bringing a slight light to Kagome's eyes.

"You're not real.." Kagome said, looking through her.

Yuunou's black clad lips curved up in a smile as she reached down and pinched Kagome.

"Ow!"

"Am I real now?" Yuunou, looked down at her basket and sat down, careful not to drop any berries, "And

do I have to eat all these cherries all by myself?"

"But I see no tree."

"Ahh, but you also see no air, but what are you breathing?"

Kagome simled and took some berries.

Yuunou laid down and stretched out, putting one hand under her head, studying Kagome, "i wouldn't

eat that one if I were you"

"Kagome took it away from her mouth, "Why?"

"Its sour," she twirled a cherry by the stem and smiled at the look on Kagome's face. "Try it then."

She caustiously put the berry in her mouth and bit down. After a few moments a bitter look came

across her face.

Yuunou laughed, "Here," she said, handing her a berry," try this one."

Kagome ate it, tasting it, and smiled.

A starving baby fax appeared, Yuunou got up, "Oh, my," she picked up the fox. "I'm sorry, Kagome,

but I have to go now."

"But--"

"No worries, love, I'll be back later."

Kagome reached out for her, "And, keep the cherries, you're getting thin."

And disappeared into a wisp of smoke.

"But--" not wanting to be alone again, "who will tell me which cherries are best?" she ened pitifully.

Ugh, had to go back and type it AGAIN. Stupid thng got deleted, and it was on the wrong formate thing.

So I had to shorten the details about Yuunou, made it better though. And I guess she's kinda me in this story.
